There is a widespread belief that Argentina hates Nepal and lots of people believe we shouldn’t support them. People believe that they hate Nepalese people due to the Gurkha Army’s involvement in Falklands War in 1982! Nepalese Regiments were deployed within the South Atlantic Conflict of 1982. They landed on the islands as a part of a 180-year contract with British Army. The Nepalese belonged to the 7th Duke of Edinburgh’s Own Gurkha Rifles and played an important part in Britain’s success. thanks to the Gurkha Army’s part during this war, many of us believe that Argentina hates Nepal and Nepalese. There are many hear-say about it. a number of them are:- Nepalese cant get Visa to Argentina?  Why does Argentina think Nepalese are their enemies? Argentinians rarely have Nepal in their minds, by any means. Most of the population probably ignores the straightforward existence of Nepal. Argentina, because the government structure, and as its population, has no considered Nepal (or its population) being their enemy. Oh! does one mean Gurkhas? The British government made them famous before the primary clashes during Malvinas / Falkland Islands war happened. They were presented as courageous and really wild soldiers. That wont to cut the ears of dead opponents. That was the parable . Reality was different. No wild behavior. Just brave soldiers. only a few people remember them in Argentina. and no-one relates them with Nepal, neither hates Nepal due to them.
